Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2025
The basics
WhatDate.Works is a free tool for scheduling group events. By using it, you agree to these terms. They're pretty reasonable.
What you can do
- Create polls to find the best dates for your events
- Share polls with anyone you want
- Respond to polls others have shared with you
- Use the service for personal or business purposes
What you can't do
- Use the service for anything illegal
- Try to break, hack, or overwhelm our systems
- Scrape data or use bots without permission
- Impersonate others or submit fake responses to mess with polls
- Use it to spam or harass people
Basically: don't be a jerk. If you abuse the service, we may terminate your account.
Your content
You own the polls and responses you create. We don't claim any ownership of your content. We just need the right to store and display it so the service can work.
The service is provided "as is"
We do our best to keep WhatDate.Works running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or bug-free. We're not liable if something goes wrong—like if you miss an important meeting because of a bug. Please don't rely solely on us for mission-critical scheduling.
Free service
WhatDate.Works is currently free to use. We might add paid features in the future, but we won't suddenly start charging for things that are currently free without giving you notice.
Changes to the service
We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. If we make major changes that affect you, we'll try to give you a heads up.
Changes to these terms
We might update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the service means you accept the new terms.
